Picking up your car at JFK

Rental cars at JFK are collected at Federal Circle. Take the AirTrain JFK from your terminal to the Federal Circle station; travel on the AirTrain between the terminals and Federal Circle is free. The rental companies’ counters and cars are there.

Driving in and around New York

Many bridges and tunnels around New York City charge tolls, and Manhattan’s congestion relief zone charges vehicles entering the area south of 60th Street. If you’re staying in Manhattan, it’s often easier to pick up the car on the day you leave the city. Long Island, the Hamptons, the Hudson Valley and the Catskills are all popular drives.
